Meraya: Ayahuasca Medicine Journey
Meraya invites the listener on a profound sonic journey into the spiritual and healing world of Shipibo-Konibo shamanism from the Amazon rainforest. At its heart are the sacred ayahuasca songs, masterfully chanted by Leonilda Huayta Pangoza, whose voice embodies the ancestral wisdom, cosmology, and ritual knowledge of her people. These melodies are delicately interwoven with the ambient sounds of the rainforest—flowing rivers, whispering winds, and native birds—alongside subtle, meditative textures, creating a living soundscape that awakens the senses and the inner self.
Through the practice of sound alchemy, Meraya transforms music into a ritual, where each tone resonates with the listener’s body, mind, and spirit, inviting reflection, deep healing, and personal transformation. The album acts as a portal to the collective unconscious, connecting the listener to the vast intelligence of nature, the ancestral lineage of the Shipibo-Konibo, and the unseen realms of consciousness. It is both a meditation and a ceremony, a space where music becomes a bridge between worlds, illuminating the path of inner exploration and awakening.
Sounds of Nasca: Resonances of Ancestral Memory
Sound of Nasca is a sonic journey inspired by the ancient Nasca culture, developed in conjunction with the NASCA exhibition (Museo de Arte Lima 2017, Museo Rietberg Zürich 2017–2018, Bundeskunsthalle Bonn 2018, Espacio Fundación Telefónica Madrid 2019).
Recorded with original Nasca antaras (pan-flutes) dating from 200 B.C. to 650 D.C., as well as replicas of other pre-Hispanic instruments, this album is an experiential exploration of resonance, vibration, and transformation. Each sound is carefully crafted to engage the listener’s body, mind, and spirit, inviting a deep attunement with the energetic and symbolic essence of the Nasca cosmology.
Through the lens of sound alchemy, Sound of Nasca transforms historical instruments into conduits for inner exploration, guiding listeners into states of presence, reflection, and connection with both ancestral memory and the unconscious. This is music as a living ritual, a gateway to the unseen, where every tone becomes an offering to the continuity of culture, consciousness, and personal transformation.
Paqarina: Healing Sounds of Peru
Paqarina is a sonic journey through the sacred landscapes of the Andes and the Amazon, where ancestral memory and the rhythms of the natural world converge. Drawing from Andean musical traditions, the album blends replica pre-Hispanic instruments—such as antaras, charango, quenas, drums, rattles, and whistling vessels—with nature sound textures, creating immersive soundscapes that awaken the senses and guide listeners into states of reflection and presence.
The melodies resonate with the archetypal forces of nature, water, earth, and sky, inviting deep introspection, emotional release, and connection with ancestral wisdom.
Through Paqarina, music becomes a portal to the unconscious, a bridge between inner and outer landscapes, and a space for spiritual attunement. It is an offering of transformation, where listeners are guided to reconnect with the timeless currents of life, and the profound intelligence of the natural and ancestral Andean world.
